You'll work across our fintech platforms — payment flows, identity verification, merchant dashboards — owning features from the first conversation with the client through to running them in production.
What you'll do
- Design and build APIs and services in TypeScript and Node
- Build client-facing interfaces in React and Next.js
- Integrate banking and payment rails, and handle their failure modes properly
- Write the tests and instrumentation that keep financial flows trustworthy
- Review peers' code and help set engineering standards as the team grows
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building production web applications
- Strong TypeScript, Node and a modern React framework
- Comfortable with relational databases and schema design
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, especially payments or banking
- Genuine care about security: authentication, authorisation, handling sensitive data
Nice to have
- NestJS, Prisma or Postgres at scale
- Exposure to PCI, PDPA or bank vendor-security reviews
- Docker and CI/CD pipelines
